Situation in the Field of Economic Security of Belarus (August 2018)

Growing external economic uncertainty actualized the problem of the vulnerability of the Belarusian economy to external shocks. Devaluation of Russian currency, caused by the outflow of capital from emerging markets and possible strengthening of the U.S. sanctions, creates a significant tension in the Belarusian economy.
